The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation is dedicated to making high-quality programs available to youth across the District. Whether you are in Ward 1 or Ward 8, we have mapped out youth serving programs to help you navigate the city better and find them. We fund engaging afterschool programs that allow youth to make new friends, learn new things, and create new memories. From block to block and ward to ward, the Trust funds over 100 programs for all ages of young people. There is a lot to keep you engaged throughout the city: . Performing and theaters arts . Creative writing . Crafts . Sports and recreation . Job readiness and college preparation All these free programs provide young people with the skills and tools that are so important to their overall development.
